About this piece
There are plenty of cheap copies of this chair. This isn't one of them.
Every Modernary & Co. lounge chair is built the way the 1956 original was — three sculpted 9-ply plywood shells on a die-cast aluminium base, with cushions wrapped in genuine top-grain cowhide that softens and deepens with age rather than cracking like the PU and microfibre "leathers" you'll find on cheaper copies.
The result looks right from across the room and feels right the moment you sit down: a relaxed, fixed recline, a smooth 360° swivel, and a matching ottoman to put your feet up. Brand new, still boxed, and ready to collect in Pickering — or delivered anywhere in Ontario.
